The check valve between the pool heater and salt. Cell stopped working. The check valve that was there was painted over and because it is fully enclosed. It is very difficult to determine if it is still working properly or not. It's critical to have a working check valve between your heater and salt cell. So we removed it and installed a better check valve that allows you to visually inspect to see if it is still working properly but in the event that it's not it is easily fixable by removing the face plate and by simply replacing the mechanism inside rather than cutting out and re-plumbing a completely new check valve.

This is also a vacation rental property and the handheld remote that the renters use for controlling the pool and spa and lights stopped working and that remote has been discontinued so we ended up installing a hardwired spa side remote mounted on the back patio for easy access for the renters to still be able to enjoy the pool.
