This Pool is elevated about a foot above the ground, and this light junction box was too low. Water was slowly finding its way back into the junction box and caused all of the calcification and corrosion that you see. We also replaced the pool light and by doing so we were able to bring the conduit up higher and pull our new light cord up and tie into the new junction box that we also replaced the conduit and wiring going to the control panel. Now it's elevated high enough above the water level to prevent this from happening again.
