Received a call from a Vacation Rental homeowner who had gotten my information from a property manager who I have done work for. He said his rental tenants were unable to heat the pool because the pool pump breaker was tripping. When I arrived, I found that the breaker was completely burnt up along with some of the wires. It turns out the pool motor is bad and when turned on, it was backfeeding to the breaker, causing the electrical wires to overheat. I also found some other safety concerns. Some of the electrical conduit had some exposed wires. All of that was removed and fixed so that everything was brought up to code and safe. The pool pump will be getting replaced as well.
