This was a Vacation Rental that we were asked to come in to do the safety compliance inspection so the owner could renew their rental permit. We had found that the two pumps that were on this pool and spa did not have the proper GFCI breakers that they are required to have. We were hired to install those breakers and when we came back to install them, we found that one of them kept tripping. After looking into why that was happening, it turned out to be a rather extensive project. We literally went through and disconnected the entire electrical system, and as you can see whoever worked on this prior, decided to use all red wiring, which made things a real nightmare. But we persisted and eventually sorted everything out and got this pool functioning properly along with the newly installed and required GFCI breakers for the pumps.
