The owner of this pool took care of it himself. Unfortunately, he had an injury and while he spent a year recovering, he neglected the pool completely. It had turned completely green and had been turned off and disabled during that time. Unfortunately, before he sustained his injury, he had "tinkered" with the Electrical and had really messed things up. He reached out because he was putting his house up for sale and wanted to get everything fixed up and running properly. We drained out the pool and chlorine washed to get rid of all of the green algae and refilled it and added all the chemicals, including salt back to it.
We also corrected all of the electrical issues. There was quite a few things miswired and breakers is not properly connected. We also needed to replace the main control board for his automation system. The circulation pump was also bad so we replaced it with a new variable speed pump. Unfortunately, the customer failed to pay about $2000 off of the bill. This was a very unfortunate situation because we put a lot of work into getting this pool ready for him to put his house on the market. Unfortunately, this dragged out too long and he sold the property before we could take legal action.
